seriously have such respect for nicholas felton and his magical ability to take all sorts of random data and make it visually stunning. his series of personal annual reports are enough to short circuit my brain from all of the awesomeness…and really question my design ability.

texas is near the top of the list for having most restaurants per capita than any city …too bad we have very few that are as original and thoughtful as schiller’s liquor bar in nyc’s lower east side {thank you mucca design…}.
From hand-drawn and stamped typography, to staff t-shirts printed with choking-victim rescue instructions, every aspect of the project was designed with a sense of homemade quirkiness, reminiscent of a family-owned downtown joint. We worked with a calligrapher to create a unique signature-style logo, which we translated into an old-school neon sign on the façade—a vintage touch that helped integrate it with the character of the neighborhood.
